Licensed Court Interpreter Orientation Course
Approved by the Judicial Branch Certification Commission
This course is designed to give participants a clear overview of the requirements for the Texas Licensed Court Interpreter exams. The six hours course will provide the basic knowledge, skills and abilities of the three types of court interpreting: Simultaneous, Consecutive and Sight translation. The candidates will also learn about the Ethics of the profession concerning the Code of Professional Conduct and the different criminal procedures and terminology.
